The light house has long been a favorite subject of artists and writers and its form lends itself beautifully to the glass medium. I make the entire sculpture from borosilicate crystal. The unusual details of the water are created by hundreds of tiny air bubbles that I purposely fold into the molten glass and then stretch into the foamy wave like form. Figurine is 7 inches tall and 3 inches in diameter. I personally sign the piece and carefully pack it so that it arrives safely. Serious collectors will especially appreciate the design.
