This delightfully detailed airplane is a charming Christmas tree ornament or can be displayed all year long as a window decoration and sun catcher. It makes the perfect gift for flying enthusiasts and aeronautical collectors. Weight being a primary concern, I make the airplane of lightweight borosilicate crystal. The brilliant rainbow of colors is created when I apply pure gold to the glass while it is still molten. Hanging from a shimmering metallic gold thread, the ornament measures 3.5 inches wide from wing tip to wing tip and is 2.5 inches long. This collectible figurine is unique to Prochaska Galleries and an attractive gold foil information card is included with your purchase.
